In response to mayor of Kenner, E. Ben Zahn, Thomas United Methodist Church started a campaign for the City of Kenner to rescind the ban on Nike apparel and equipment purchases by the Department of Parks and Recreation.  Rev. Kaseem N. Short, pastor, invites the citizens of Kenner to unite by speaking out against the mayor's divisive policies. Let's join together as one community to STOP THE KENNER NIKE BAN!

BREAKING NEWS:

E.BEN ZAHN, MAYOR OF KENNER, RESENDS NIKE BAN AT PRESS CONFERENCE WEDNESDAY.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Kenner community. We still have so much work to do!  Our goal is to have 5,000 signatures to present to mayor Zahn at the next City Council meeting on September 20th. The mayor has a responsibility to all of the citizens of Kenner. Don't stop signing and sharing the petition! We can do anything when we do it together.  Let's press forward to keep #kennerunited.
